Project #1 Nutrition brings back KC Mitchell’s original pre-workout with a modern approach

Project 1 Nutrition Overkill Pre Workout

A few months ago, it was announced that the legendary powerlifter and fitness influencer KC Mitchell, the man behind the eventually discontinued brand Rising Labs, would be bringing back his original stimulant pre-workout in partnership with Project #1 Nutrition. We’ve since seen the brand team up with a couple of other famous faces, including Ana Capozzoli for a plant-based protein powder and Martha Stewart for a series of health products, and this month, KC Mitchell’s pre-workout has officially been revived.

Like it was called when available from Rising Labs, KC Mitchell’s stimulant-powered supplement is titled Overkill, and it has been brought forward into the modern age of the supplement market, packing a respectable blend of ingredients and dosages. It has been formulated as an all-around experience, providing support for all of the core pre-workout benefits, including energy, focus, pumps, and performance.

Project 1 Nutrition Overkill Label

We’ve got the completely transparent facts panel for Project #1 Nutrition and KC Mitchell’s Overkill pre-workout in the image above, and as you can see, it has something for everything. Supporting performance is the ever-present beta-alanine at its usual 3.2g a serving plus 2g of taurine, and for a touch of pumps, there is 2g of betaine. There, for the purpose of energy and focus, is a solid 350mg of combined caffeine from regular anhydrous and PurCaf natural caffeine, plus hard-hitting alpha yohimbine at 2mg, theobromine at 200mg, and a solid 125mg of the premium caffeine-free stimulant Dynamine.

Interestingly, Project #1 Nutrition continues the increasingly popular trend of including KSM-66 Ashwagandha in the Overkill pre-workout. Typically, ashwagandha is found in testosterone boosters, muscle builders, stress, nighttime, and recovery supplements due to its vast variety of proven benefits in those areas. It also has proof to power performance, and sports nutrition brands are getting on that and also bringing with that approach, the many other effects of KSM-66 to their pre-workout.

You can purchase KC Mitchell’s all-new Overkill pre-workout directly through Project #1 Nutrition’s online store at a price of $54.95 for a bottle of 30 maximum servings, and that is reasonable considering the serving count. If you want to get an idea of how much that cost works out to be based on Overkill having 20 servings, it’s $36.63, making it quite a competitive supplement next to others in the category with the common 20 servings, and it is available in two creative flavors: Wolf Blood and Old Glory.
