Plant-based protein snack specialist Misfits recently made a couple of major announcements; it officially launched in the US through the giant sports nutrition retailer GNC, and it reworked its flagship product, giving it a smoother, softer texture. Notably, the brand did not transition all of its many flavors over to the new recipe; it selected three of its many tastes to give a better experience, and they were all classics in Caramel Fudge, Cookie Butter, and Peanut Butter Fudge.
The goal was always going to be to eventually improve the recipe of all of the Misfits Protein Bars, although it turns out there are a few other plans, and by that, we mean introducing completely new flavors in that new and improved version. This weekend, the UK-based brand has gone ahead and added another taste to the menu of the product, something that has not been available before, albeit similar to Chocolate Cookie Dough in Cookie Dough.
We have to imagine Misfits’ all-new Cookie Dough is similar to the past Chocolate Cookie Dough, but again, the flavor extension is in that completely new recipe, combining a classic cookie dough taste with a soft and smooth consistency, at least more so than the previous iteration. The macros on the drop are right around the others on the menu, with 15g of plant-based protein, 18g of carbohydrates, close to half a gram of sugar, 6.4g of fat, and 174 calories.
