Convenience is key these days, as people will pay more to get their hands on something sooner rather than later; Amazon Prime is immediate proof of that, as well as the food delivery service Uber Eats. The latter is important in this post here, as that is who the sports nutrition retail giant GNC has partnered with to make getting your hands on supplements that much easier. You can still stop by GNC’s many stores across the country to grab products as well as order online, but there is now a faster way to purchase.
GNC has partnered with Uber to offer customers the convenience of ordering their favorite supplements through Uber Eats or Uber Direct for same-day delivery on orders placed at gnc.com. The collaboration makes GNC the first health and wellness specialty retailer to leverage Uber Direct, enhancing customer convenience with quick and effortless delivery. Basically, if you’re in need of your supplements as soon as possible, Uber Eats and Uber Direct bring that opportunity to GNC, and it’s available across the country.
This was similar to something The Vitamin Shoppe announced a couple of months ago, where it too got together with Uber, or specifically Uber Eats, to allow consumers to order a selection of supplements from their local store through Uber Eats. GNC’s latest development involves that same service extension with the addition of the Uber Direct utilization, as mentioned, where you can order at gnc.com and then potentially choose to have an Uber driver pick up your supplements at GNC and drop them off the same day.
