Several months ago, near the end of last year, The Skinny Food Co previewed an incredibly intriguing functional product called Skinny Coffee. Plain and simple, it is a better-for-you, canned coffee beverage, giving you the benefits of coffee without any large amounts of sugar, carbohydrates, or calories. The always intriguing brand has finally brought Skinny Coffee to market this month, and true to its word or true to its original preview, the drink has turned out exactly as promised.
The Skinny Food Co’s Skinny Coffee is made with whole milk, coffee extract, some flavoring, and the artificial sweetener sucralose. The result is a coffee-tasting beverage that has a light 37mg of caffeine in its slim 250ml can, with just 1.8g of sugar, a similar amount in fat and protein, ending on a guilt-free 26 to 27 calories. There were four flavors originally confirmed for Skinny Coffee; all but one have come to market in Hazlenut, Salted Caramel, and Vanilla Latte, leaving out Mocha Latte.
Many of the products available from The Skinny Food Co can be purchased individually, saving you from buying an entire box or case, and Skinny Coffee is one of those with single cans at £2.49 (3.16 USD), which comes down drastically if you grab a bundle of a dozen cans at £18.74 (23.75 USD).
