Cnergy and its creatine energy drink make a splash at India’s IHFF Show

Cnergy Energy Drink

At this year’s annual IHFF Show in New Delhi, beginning yesterday and ending tomorrow, we were introduced to several notable names in the world of health and nutrition, and among them are some truly intriguing offerings. One of the few that stood out to us was a company and beverage called Cnergy, described on the front of its can as a “Creatine Energy” drink, and that is precisely what it is: a drink that brings together energizing ingredients and the performance power of creatine.

Cnergy is canned but is a non-carbonated beverage, and its two main features are, of course, caffeine, to provide uplifting energy, and creatine, for performance power. The caffeine is certainly not on the high side like the 200 to 300mg offerings you find in the US market; in fact, it is closer to a can of Coke Zero at just 35mg. As for the creatine, there is a gram per 250ml can, although it doesn’t make it clear on the panel as to what type of creatine, nor does it mention any sort of remedy for the degradation you get from having creatine in solution, as prominently highlighted by CreaBev.

Cnergy does have a few other components in its product alongside the caffeine and creatine, with B vitamins, vitamin C, and BCAAs. The taste is not too bad; it’s a strong and sweet lemon experience with absolutely no sugar or calories, and again, despite being in a can and classified as an energy drink, it is not carbonated. The product can be found and purchased on Amazon in India at ₹396 (4.74 USD) for a pack of four, which works out to almost a dollar per can or more precisely, $1.18.
