Breakfast cereal giant Kellogg’s has expanded its line of Nutri-Grain Soft Baked Bars designed and marketed for that classic, early morning meal window that is breakfast. The original Nutri-Grain Soft Baked Bar features a deliciously sweet, fruity filling wrapped in a crumbly oat-filled outer, although that’s not the reason we’ve got them in headlines here at Stack3d. Kellogg’s has released a protein-packed product under the Nutri-Grain banner with Nutri-Grain Power-Fulls.
Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain Power-Fulls are baked oat-based bites in two delicious flavors: Chocolate Chip, featuring rich chocolate chips throughout the bites, and Strawberry, featuring a sweet and familiar strawberry taste throughout the product. They come in small, pocket-sized 40g pouches, providing 6g of protein, which is more moderate protein than high, 21 to 22g of carbohydrates thanks to the oats, 1 to 2g of fat, and 170 calories in Chocolate Chip and 160 for Strawberry.
The macros of Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain Power-Fulls aren’t anywhere near that of your typical protein bar at 20g of protein top around 200 calories, nor common functional protein snacks, but it is an increase next to the original Nutri-Grain Soft Baked Bars. Again, the product is packaged into compact and convenient 40g pouches for you to take with you on the go, and those pouches are available from Kellogg’s and Nutri-Grains retailers in somewhat bulk boxes of four bags.
