There are indeed 1,000s of sports nutrition brands out there, although there is something only a small fraction of them have, and that is a public gym. Redcon1, Nutrend in Europe, and HD Muscle, to some extent, have a gym that goes alongside their supplements, a small group of names that Chris Bumstead’s Raw Nutrition is about to join. In roughly two months, right on Memorial Day — Monday the 27th of May — the grand opening will take place of the first-ever Raw Athletic Club or, more simply, the Raw Gym.
Obviously, with five-time Classic Mr. Olympia Chris Bumstead, reputable bodybuilding trainer Matt Jansen, and everybody else at Raw Nutrition involved, you know the Raw Athletic Club is going to be one hell of a place to train. Based on what the team has shared, that is most definitely the case, as the Raw Gym will have its own barber, a smoothie bar, a restaurant serving healthy food, shops selling apparel and, of course, Raw supplements, and as for the gym itself, there was absolutely no expense spared.
Raw Nutrition’s Raw Athletic Club has a giant gym floor space, as in the total workout area, of 18,000 sq ft, and filling that hardworking space is around 130 different machines, although the group ordered 160, so if it can squeeze more in, it has the equipment to do that. We can easily imagine this becoming a destination gym like Alphaland and even Redcon1 Gym, and again, it is officially opening its doors in two months at the end of May on Memorial Day, and the location of it is Port St. Lucie, down in Florida.
