Legacy brand Nutrex has been undergoing an extensive makeover this year, where it’s reformulated a few supplements, introduced some entirely new products, and rebranded a lot of its lineup. This week, there is a bit of everything going on, as Nutrex has updated one of the supplements it built its name on in the family of weight loss competitors, Lipo-6, specifically the potent, high-stimulant member, Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate.
The previous version of Nutrex’s Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate was relatively straightforward, featuring a non-transparent blend weighing 295mg per capsule and made up of caffeine, theobromine, Advantra Z, yohimbine, and alpha yohimbine. It’s very clearly a high-stimulant or at least stimulant-focused fat burner, with plenty of energy to go around, and an equal amount of weight loss support thanks to the Advantra Z and yohimbine.
Nutrex hasn’t changed too much for the 2023 edition of Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate, still wrapping the ingredients in a proprietary blend, although it does say it has caffeine equal to one and a half cups of coffee, which we’re guessing is 150mg, as that is 300mg in two servings. The blend in the new version is 315mg of caffeine anhydrous, theobromine, synephrine, but not the premium Advantra Z, newly added GBBGO, almost guaranteeing an intense sweat effect and that same pair of yohimbine and potent alpha yohimbine.
The reformulated and nicely rebranded Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate essentially adds GBBGO to the mix with the loss of Advantra Z’s synephrine and presumably a similar blend of dosages, although it is hard to tell with the non-transparent blend. The price of the signature Nutrex fat burner appears to have remained the same at $34.99 for a bottle of 60 servings; however, during Black Friday, it is 40% off and down under $20 at $19.24.
