Juicy Protein is Chaos Crew’s competitor in the sub-category of clear protein powder, and it actually came to market long before the surge of competitors from the last year or so, making its debut back at the beginning of 2021. Two and a half years later, the UK-based brand has seen fit to revamp and relaunch the supplement, making several changes to give back to the fans who have come to rely on it as a source of protein.
Chaos Crew’s Juicy Protein V2 has a larger serving this time around, giving you more protein in every scoop at 26g with the same sources as the original. It is worth highlighting those sources are collagen and hydrolyzed whey, with more of the former than the latter. Collagen brings all of its health and beauty benefits to the product, but it is worth knowing that collagen provides most of the protein, as the majority of the clear-style protein powders rely entirely on whey isolate or hydrolyzed whey.
The rest of the nutrition profile in Juicy Protein V2 is impressively lean, at 2g of carbohydrates, no sugar, under 200mg of fat, and 112 calories. Above all of that, Chaos Crew promises a much better taste experience in the sequel to its clear protein powder. The brand has done its best to take it to another level, and improving flavor is always a positive thing, especially if it’s an improvement on something that consumers already find enjoyable.
Chaos Crew has added Juicy Protein V2 to its online store in place of its predecessor, where fans will notice even more exciting changes. The clear protein powder now comes in two sizes: a small 600g bag at £23.99 and a juicier 1.8kg or 4lb tub at £44.99. The menu is also more extensive, with seven completely new tastes to choose from, including Fruit Fusion, Pink Bubblegum, Cola Bottles, Pineapple Delight, and Strawberries & Cream Candy.
