A few years back, Applied Nutrition revamped its long-running, high-calorie mass gainer Critical Mass, where a lot of the nutrition was lowered, including the protein down to 42g, 75g of carbohydrates, and a calorie count of 566. The sports nutrition giant based out of the UK eventually brought back that original recipe in a separate version aptly named Original Critical Mass, returning to that 52g of protein, over double the carbohydrates at 155g, and an almost four-digit 928 calories.
Applied Nutrition has just dropped another two flavors of the resurrected Original Critical Mass, not the more modern version referred to as Critical Mass Professional, pushing its total tastes up to six. Joining the already available family of four in Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, and Banana is another classic, on the same level of familiarity as Chocolate and Vanilla in Cookies & Cream, while the other one is a bit more intriguing in White Chocolate Bueno, both of them now available in the UK.
