The functional innovator Get-A-Way, responsible for some incredibly unique better-for-you snacks, such as its Black Forest Ice Cream Cake, Waffle Bites, and frozen Kulfi, has crafted another product you won’t likely see from any competitor anywhere else in the world. The brand has introduced Get-A-Way Moments, which is a bite-sized amount of ice cream on a stick, sort of like a sample or snack version of the familiar format.
Get-A-Way Moments have been put together in part for Rakhi or Raksha Bandhan, a traditional Indian celebration, that is taking place all around the world tomorrow. As mentioned, the product is a snack-sized ice cream on a stick, tipping the scales at just 25g a piece, and made with milk, motichoor, cashews, and some sugar. The macros are about a gram of protein, around 5g of carbohydrates, 3g of sugar, 3.8 to 4.8g of fat, and 58 to 78 calories.
The Get-A-Way innovation isn’t supremely light but keeps the nutrition and calories to a minimum, primarily due to its size. It’s a nicely timed release for the brand, tying in with Rakhi, and it is intended to be a type of Mithai, which is a selection of sweets and confectionery. Get-A-Way Moments fit right into that, aiming to offer a sweet experience but with slightly better nutrition, and they come in boxes with one each of three different, traditional Indian flavors in Malai Motichoor, Kesa Peda, and Kaju Katli.
