Not only did PEScience launch another flavor of its signature, smooth, and always enjoyable Select Protein last week, in White Chocolate Macadamia, it also dropped an additional gut health supplement by the name of Complete-GI. This is not a completely new product, more of a spin-off of the previously released and substantially cheaper Symbiont-GI, featuring many of the same ingredients alongside a few others.
PEScience’s Symbiont-GI combines premium PepZin GI, slipper elm bark, the branded BioCore blend of digestive enzymes, and another quality component in LactoSpore probiotics, providing two billion CFUs. All of those ingredients except for slippery elm are in the brand’s new Complete-GI and at the exact same dosages with 110mg of BioCore and its 11 different enzymes, and the two billion CFUs from LactoSpore.
What separates Complete-GI from Symbiont-GI is PEScience has produced the former in powder format, excluded slippery elm bark, and added 5g of glutamine and 3g of oat fiber, making for, as the name suggests, a more complete gut health supplement. The three-in-one type product is designed to support and improve digestion, regularity, and overall gut health, and with Complete-GI in powder, it’s easier to throw in a shake or smoothie.
At the moment, PEScience only has Complete-GI available in Unflavored powder, which, again, is ideal for a shake where you’ve already got a flavored-protein powder or smoothie with other ingredients building out the taste. While the comprehensive digestion and gut health supplement is exclusively Unflavored, a Raspberry option is arriving in the next couple of weeks, with both carrying a price of $39.99 for a tub of 30 servings.
