Aware puts 10g of protein and under 3g of carbohydrates into its tortilla wraps

Aware Protein Tortillas

Sweden’s Aware Nutrition has expanded into all sorts of categories in its handful of years in the sports nutrition industry, although unlike most other brands in the Scandinavian region and even the continent of Europe, it had yet to make any sort of functional food. It does have Protein Oatmeal and Protein Pancake, although those are bulk powder mixes, not really anything ready to eat, which is the case with its all-new Protein Tortillas.

Aware Protein Tortillas are indeed tortillas that are high in protein to help you make delicious tortilla wraps with a bit of extra protein, or how ever else you could imagine putting them to use. The wheat-based product has a rather impressive nutrition profile packed into each of its 40g tortillas with a moderate 10g of protein, 15g of fat, and low carbohydrates at 2.7g, close to none of that sugar, 9.7g of fiber, and a calorie count of 119.

The better-for-you Protein Tortillas from Aware Nutrition step things up even further with their price, as a packet of the product costs 37 kr when shopping directly through the brand’s website, which converts to just $3.61 USD. You do get quite a few tortillas in each of those packets, and that’s where the value comes in as the $3.61 lands you six pieces, making it a healthier alternative to regular tortillas and you won’t pay too much more.
