BPI Sports has teamed up with several individuals over the past couple of years for special edition supplements and collaboration flavors, but its latest might be its biggest partnership so far in terms of the person and products. The long-running brand known for releases like 1MR and Best BCAA, has come together with powerlifter, bodybuilder, and all-around fitness celebrity Larry Wheels for his own collection of Personal Record supplements.
BPI Sports and Larry Wheels’ Personal Record series is made up of five products, all of them being for popular categories and most of them being relatively straightforward and to the point. The simpler items in the family include Micro Creatine and BCAA, with the former being a large, 600g bulk tub of unflavored creatine monohydrate, and the latter a flavored amino cocktail with 7g of BCAAs per serving for recovery, plus 2g of citrulline silicate.
Next up, we have the two protein powders in the Personal Record collection, starting with ISO, a premium, whey isolate-powered supplement providing a lean 25g of protein, a gram of carbohydrates, half a gram of fat, and 120 calories. You then have the calorie-dense mass gainer aptly named Gainer with 50g of protein from whey and pea concentrate, 142g of carbohydrates from maltodextrin, 5g of fat, and a hefty 820 calories.
Last but not least is the most complex product under BPI Sports and Larry Wheels’ Personal Record banner in the category-titled Pre-Workout. Like most competitors in the pre-workout space, this one has a broad selection of ingredients to support energy, focus, pumps, and performance. It includes (full label below) the stimulating pair of TeaCrine and Dynamine at 50mg each, 300mg of caffeine, 3g of citrulline silicate, and a light 1.6g of beta-alanine.
As mentioned, the collaboration between BPI Sports and Larry Wheels is undoubtedly large, as the only other person the brand has partnered with to create something this extensive was Mike O’Hearn. All of the Personal Record products are listed on the BPI Sports website, and they’re the same price at $39.99 each except for the protein-based supplements, where a 32-serving bag of Gainer is $69.99, and ISO protein powder is $79.99.
