The compact and convenient shot format has been around for quite some time, and while it’s not as common in the sports nutrition space as the classic energy drink, plenty of brands still pump them out. German company ESN has gone and done exactly that, introducing the miniature liquid drink Fight Shot Pro, which is a bit bigger than the 60ml shots we usually see, measuring in with a volume of 95ml.
Another interesting feature of ESN’s Fight Shot Pro is the marketing behind it; as you can see in the name, it’s actually promoted for a specific sport, with the brand marketing it as a shot for before your fight or “pre-fight”. The ingredients in the product aren’t exclusively for combat sports, the product is formulated to support energy and focus for anyone open to those benefits, but the fighting angle is interesting.
The precise blend of ingredients powering ESN’s Fight Shot Pro are a gram each of n-acetyl-l-tyrosine and acetyl-l-carnitine, 14mg of synephrine, 100mg of theanine, vitamin B12, a moderate 200mg of caffeine, and, of course, AstraGin for better absorption. It’s a relatively straightforward formula, not featuring anything we haven’t seen before, and again, it’s exclusively for before a fight.
Fight Shot Pro is out now in ESN’s home country of Germany, where it’ll cost €17.90 (19.46 USD) for a box of half a dozen shots in the one Bloody Orange Punch flavor.
