Total War Black Ops is Redcon1’s entry into the world of premium pre-workouts, offering a more robust formula at a slightly higher price compared to the original Total War. We’ve got the complete combination of ingredients and dosages for reveal, and as suspected, there is much more to the supplement than the components previously confirmed in Dynamine, TeaCrine, and NO3-T nitrates.
Redcon1’s Total War Black Ops is very much a step up from its long-running, well-rounded Total War pre-workout, with a wider variety and more premium ingredients, and larger dosages. Much like the original, Black Ops is built for a comprehensive experience in the gym, featuring a few ingredients each for energy, focus, pumps, and performance, and some added thermogenesis to turn up the heat.
Premium formula
You can see the complete facts panel for Total War Black Ops in the image below, and as originally revealed, it has a sizeable 4g of ThermoLife’s NO3-T nitrates to enhance muscle pumps, a fair amount higher than the more common 2 to 3g per serving. That 4g is also not from a single source, it comes from three NO3-T nitrates in creatine nitrate, betaine nitrate, and citrulline nitrate.
To further support pumps, Redcon1 has included a respectable 6g of pure citrulline; then, to improve performance and endurance, you have 3.2g of beta-alanine and a gram of taurine. Driving home the energy and focus portion of Total War Black Ops is Compound Solutions’ stimulating pair of 150mg of TeaCrine and 125mg Dynamine, 300mg of alpha-GPC, huperzine A, 2mg of the potent alpha yohimbine, 100mg of theobromine, and 400mg of caffeine from anhydrous, green coffee, and guarana.
Thermogenic component
As mentioned above, there is a thermogenic side to Total War Black Ops, thanks to Redcon1’s inclusion of 25mg each of grains of paradise and ProGBB branded GBB. It’s an interesting twist to the pre-workout and will add another element to the experience of the already comprehensive pre-workout to further separate it from the original Total War.
Launch details
Redcon1 is launching its more advanced Total War Black Ops sometime very soon, and it will be available first through the major sports nutrition retailer GNC. The premium pre-workout is hitting the market in Tiger’s Blood, Sour Gummy Bear, and Blue Lemonade flavors, with fewer servings than Total War at 20 per tub, and the price, once again, will be slightly more than the original at $54.95.
