Swiss functional company Chiefs has a new bar in its lineup this month to go alongside its many other delicious protein treats, including its dessert-like Protein Pudding and Milk Protein Drink that tastes just like a milkshake. Chiefs does already have a bar-format snack on the market, although its latest is a bit different, introducing the Chiefs Core Protein Bar.
The Chiefs Core Protein Bar is similar to the Barebells Core Bar in a protein-packed product that has a gooey center or, in this case, a smooth, gooey core. The snack has the usual dense or doughy build around the gooey middle; then, it’s wrapped in delicious sweet chocolate.
There are two flavors of the Chiefs Core Protein Bar, each offering a different combination of tastes. The first is Vanilla Cheesecake featuring a soft and creamy vanilla cheesecake-flavored core, as per the name, covered in white chocolate. The other option is Peanut Butter, with, of course, a peanut butter center and milk chocolate around the outside.
The size of the Chiefs Core Protein Bar isn’t that large, about two-thirds of your typical 60 protein bar at 40g, but still packing a good amount of protein at 13g. The rest of the nutrition profile consists of 6 to 7.6g of fat, 15 to 17g of carbohydrates, and under 2g of that sugar, with 150 calories in Vanilla Cheesecake and 163 for Peanut Butter.
Chiefs has launched its undoubtedly delicious Core Protein Bar in its home country of Switzerland. Local fans and followers can purchase the product from the brand’s website at CHF 34.20 (34.30 USD) for a box of 12. There is also the Tasting Package that has two each of four flavors of Chiefs’ original protein bar and two each of the Core Bar flavors at CHF 37.90 (38 USD).
