Lifestyle brand Protein World from the UK recently released a special edition pre-workout for summer with Summer Sessions in three fitting flavors, Apple, Summer Berries, and Mojito. It is a limited-time supplement, and previously we didn’t know too much about what’s in it, although now that it’s available, we have all you need to know about the pre-workout.
Protein World’s Summer Sessions pre-workout is different from the category-named competitor it already had on the market in Pre-Workout. Summer Sessions features many of the same main ingredients with some slightly different dosages. The combination still aims to support the core pre-workout benefits in energy, focus, pumps, and performance.
Summer Sessions comes with almost twice the citrulline malate found in Protein World’s regular pre-workout at 3.9g, 2g of beta-alanine to power performance, a gram of taurine, and a gram each of tyrosine and choline bitartrate for focus. Most notably, you get a lot more caffeine in Summer Sessions compared to Pre-Workout, with a total of 300mg versus 200.
Like Pre-Workout, Protein World’s Summer Sessions is still an extremely straightforward pre-workout, a far cry from the advanced, top-rated competitors out there. The price of Summer Sessions is a bit more than the brand’s ongoing pre-workout at £28 (33.90 USD), although we’re not sure how many servings you get as there isn’t a count or weight listed.
