Russian functional food company Fit Kit has put a new twist on its original hit protein snack, Protein Cake. The product is similar but separate from the regular Protein Cake and the gooey center-filled Extra Protein Cake, with the difference coming in the soft and fluffy center. The product is named Twisted Protein Cake, as it has twisted two or three flavors together in that marshmallow-like middle.
Fit Kit’s Twisted Protein Cake has the same build as its other Protein Cakes with a crumbly biscuit base, a smooth and fluffy center, and all covered in chocolate. That center, as mentioned, combines multiple flavors instead of just one, and you can see them separated by color. The brand confirms the different pairs of tastes in the names of its flavors, of which there are four to choose from.
The all-new and intriguing Twisted Protein Cake comes in Lavender Cheese with a strawberry base, Rum Pomegranate with a coffee biscuit, and the three-part flavors, Mango Peach Kiwi with a crumbly coconut bottom, and Cherry Almond Banana atop a chocolate biscuit.
Fit Kit’s Twisted Protein Cake is high in protein at 25%, around the same percentage as the original Protein Cake, providing 18g of protein in its sizeable 70g treat. The Russian company is launching its latest snack creation shortly through its website and its retail partners, presumably for around the same price as Protein Cake and Extra Protein Cake, which get as low as 150₽ (2.53 USD) each.
