Nightfood is the maker of high-protein, sleep-friendly ice cream, and by sleep-friendly, it means it has taken out ingredients that could disrupt sleep if you down a tub before going to bed. We first posted about the company three years ago and the strong nutrition profile behind its ice cream, with the Midnight Chocolate flavor packing 28g of protein alongside high carbohydrates at 56g, 6g of fat, and 280 calories.
Still to this day, the only product on the market from Nightfood is its sleep-friendly ice cream; however, next month, that is going to change. In July, the clever functional company is coming out with delicious cookies that have the same sleep-friendly approach with fewer ingredients to potentially disrupt sleep. The cookies will be made with an oat flour base, date syrup as a sweetener, and be free of any gluten and nuts.
Nightfood has also said its cookies will be a healthier-for-you food, suggesting its nutrition may be similar to the original ice cream, and pack a good amount of protein. The first flavor launching for Nightfood’s sleep-friendly cookies sometime next month will be Prime-Time Chocolate Chip. Other flavors will follow and expand the product, including Cherry Oat and Snickerdoodle, expected between July and August.
