Greg Doucette’s brand continues to evolve and improve this week, and this time, instead of releasing an entirely new supplement, it is rolling out a sequel to one of its first four sports nutrition products. The incredibly consistent and busy brand is introducing HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0, a sequel to HTLT Pre-Workout, which was released less than one year ago in July of last year.
HTLT’s flagship pre-workout has undergone several changes, with some ingredients being carried over, some removed, and some new components added. There aren’t just a few tweaks in this one, although the brand from Greg Doucette is still aiming for a comprehensive experience in HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0, packing it with ingredients for energy, focus, pumps, and performance.
Reworked formula
You can see the facts panel for HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0 in the image below, where, as mentioned, you get a few ingredients for each of the core pre-workout benefits. The supplement still has a hefty dose of pure citrulline to power muscle pumps at 9g, slightly down from 10g; however, the premium pump ingredient Nitrosigine is also now in there at a full 1.5g.
HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0 has increased the amount of beta-alanine you get in its maximum serving, going from a solid 4g to even more at 4.5g, with the betaine getting a jump as well up to 3g. On the stimulant side, the caffeine is a bit lower than the previous HTLT Pre-Workout from 350mg down to 300mg, but adding back in some energy and intensity is the reputable stimulant eria jarensis at 150mg.
Greg Doucette and his brand HTLT have really reworked their pre-workout for the second iteration, making many changes, not just a few here and there. However, it is still a packed-out and balanced product with some solid dosages, many of which are higher than most of its competitors, so it should be as reliable as the original with some potential rebalancing of the key benefits.
Where to buy
You can purchase HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0 straight from the brand’s online store with the same amount of maximum servings per tub at 20, and for the same price as the first version at $49.99. As usual with every HTLT supplement, there is a bulk option for the sequel pre-workout with three tubs at $41.66 each, and there is just one flavor to choose from at the moment in Dragon Berry.
