RYSE’s Godzilla Pre-Workout is a double collaboration put together in partnership with the iconic character Godzilla and the brand’s premier athlete and IFBB Pro bodybuilder, Noel Deyzel. The supplement made a lot of noise when its formula was unveiled as RYSE did not hold back on this one, absolutely loading it with top-of-the-line dosages for a comprehensive blend of energy, focus, pumps, and performance.
Some of the standout ingredients in the RYSE Godzilla Pre-Workout include a huge 9g of pure citrulline plus 2g of NO3-T citrulline nitrate, 5g each of betaine and creatine monohydrate, and 6.4g of beta-alanine. We’ve had our fair share of pre-workouts that look good on paper and don’t turn out so well in the gym, so we purchased a tub of the product the day it launched to find out if it works as good as its formula looks.
Review
When it comes to effectiveness, RYSE’s Godzilla Pre-Workout is a complete powerhouse, coming through with one of the most balanced experiences we’ve had the pleasure of working out with. The supplement is definitely more than just hefty dosages of reliable ingredients; they all work together to ensure each of the core effects you want from a pre-workout are present, and they’re noticeable.
The performance and pumps in the Godzilla Pre-Workout are its two most impressive effects, and even by themselves, they’re enough to make the product a top-rated pre-workout. The performance and endurance ability of the supplement will see you knocking out set after set. You’ll notice you need less rest between sets, in turn creating a driving intensity, and your weight and rep count won’t take a hit; in fact, they’re better than ever.
Dense and full muscle pumps come on top of the high-powered performance of RYSE’s Godzilla Pre-Workout and truly compliment the experience. There is a balance between the two effects, where you get intense pumps and heightened performance, although, in certain workouts, you will get one more than the other. In high volume sessions where strength and endurance aren’t as important, the pumps are a little better and vice versa, but again, it’s best when you get that balance.
While for us, the pumps and performance are the high points of the RYSE double collaboration pre-workout, it does not sell you short in energy and focus. You’ll find it gives you plenty of energy to match and really amplify the endurance side of the product and a fitting zoned-in focus that is almost forced on you from the increased ability to knock out top sets one after another.
The only critique we have for the RYSE Godzilla Pre-Workout is that the energy isn’t as hard-hitting as other top pre-workouts such as the latest HyperMax and Inspired’s DVST8 Of The Union. In saying that, however, we said this is an incredibly balanced pre-workout, and that is what you get. The stimulating energy and focus don’t trump the pumps or performance at any point, with everything truly seamlessly working together.
Summary
RYSE definitely created an eye-catching formula in its authentic Godzilla Pre-Workout, also referred to as the Noel Deyzel Signature Pre-Workout, and it delivers on every milligram of that in the gym. There wasn’t a workout where we didn’t have smooth energy, driving focus, dense pumps, and powerhouse performance, with once again, those last two effects being the most reliable and impressive of the pre-workout.
