Functional brand Lenny and Larry’s has reworked and relaunched its two-year-old, high-protein cookie sandwich Complete Cremes in both of its original flavors, Chocolate and Vanilla. Firstly, the brand has shrunk the number of cookies you get per packet going from its tray of 18 cookies to 33% fewer at a dozen, and the cookies are the same size at 13.5g a piece.
The build of Lenny and Larry’s Complete Cremes is still a traditional cookie sandwich, with two crumbly cookies on either side of a delicious, creamy filling. For the new version, the macros have been tweaked with less plant-based protein at 5g instead of 6 per two cookies, a touch more fat at 7g, increased carbohydrates at 14g, and a mildly higher 130 calories.
Keep in mind that those numbers are based on Complete Cremes’ serving size of two sandwich cookies, and there are six of those in every box. Basically, if you throw down a whole set, the macros do add up, giving you a solid 30g of protein, alongside 84g of carbohydrates, 42g of fat, and a total calorie count of 780.
If you would like to try Lenny and Larry’s renewed Complete Cremes protein cookie sandwiches, the updated edition is in stock and now available for purchase from its website. The price of the box of 12 cookies, which is divided up inside into two packets of six cookies, will cost you a reasonable $3.49 for either of its traditional flavors, Chocolate and Vanilla.
