High protein cereal has become a relatively common format of protein snack over the past couple of years, or at least a lot more common than the handful of protein cereals we had initially. There are the likes of Highkey and its delicious Rice Krispies-like product, The Cereal School renamed Schoolyard Snacks, the addictive Magic Spoon, and now Good O’s Protein Hoops.
Good O’s is the latest brand to enter the growing category of cereal-format protein snacks with its hoop-shaped solution. The product is indeed as advertised, high in protein, packing 13 to 14g of protein in a 33g serving of its crunchy, crumbly, and tasty cereal. The carbohydrates are in the same range at 13 to 14g with no sugar, 3g of fat, and calorie counts of 126 to 137.
Good O’s and its Protein Hoops cereal rely on a reasonably simple and clean set of ingredients, including casein and whey for the extra protein, the sweeteners erythritol and sucralose, IMO fiber, tapioca starch, and inulin. Good O’s does have a strong selection of flavors to choose from with three in total in Chocolate, Berry, and the two-part taste Honey & Vanilla.
The intriguing new protein cereal company only came to market in the past few months, and it is UK-based. If you’d like to find out more or give Good O’s Protein Hoops a try, you can head to its website. Through there you can purchase the brand’s protein-packed cereal at £22.99 (30.91 USD) for three boxes of seven servings with variety bundles available as well.
