The Skinny Food Co’s long-awaited and highly-anticipated low-sugar snack has arrived, with the Maltesers-like Skinny Malts, first previewed back in April of this year. The product has debuted under the slightly different name of Skinny Chocaholic Malts but maintained its Maltesers-style branding as that is the candy it is intended to be an alternative of.
Skinny Chocaholic Malts from The Skinny Food Co has 11.4g of carbohydrates in a moderate 20g serving with just under a gram of that sugar, 4.8g of fat, 1.4g of protein, and a low 87 calories. Actual Maltesers macros are similar, although with a lot more sugar in 12.4g of carbohydrates, 10.4g of that sugar, 5g of fat, 1.6g of protein, and a calorie count of 100.
Basically, The Skinny Food Co’s Skinny Chocaholic Malts have almost the same calories as Maltesers, but without all the sugar, and marginally fewer calories by 13%. The lower sugar is indeed the goal of the product, as you can see it calling out on its packaging, and it is available now through the brand’s website at £0.79 a pack or £6.99 (9.51 USD) for 12.
