Naked Nutrition is a clean, transparent, and primarily straightforward supplement company that aims to give people exactly what they’re buying with premium ingredients and reliable products. It all started in 2014 with five single-ingredient supplements, and now the line has exploded to an extensive selection that, starting this week, includes an improved protein bar.
The Naked Bar is Naked Nutrition’s on-the-go, high-protein snack, which has been reworked for 2021 with a similarly sized product packing the same amount of protein, but it has fewer calories overall. The renewed Naked Bar packs 15g of protein alongside 20 to 23g of carbohydrates with 8g of that sugar and 8 to 11g fiber, 6g of fat, and a sub 200 calorie count of 180 to 190.
Naked Nutrition’s latest version of its protein bar is still made with a lot of real food ingredients, including whey concentrate, almond and peanut butter, crispy whey pieces, and the natural sweetener monk fruit. There are fewer flavors for the new Naked Bar compared to its predecessor, with just two to start in Chocolate Fudge and the marginally higher calorie Peanut Butter Crunch.
The build of Naked Nutrition’s Naked Bar is similar to other real food style protein snacks on the market, with a plain and dense-looking main body which you can get a bit of a glimpse of in the image above. You can see the crispy pieces scattered throughout the bar to give it that high 15g protein, and they usually help add some light and crispy consistency to the experience.
Naked Nutrition’s website is now stocking its new and improved Naked Bar for the same price as the previous version at $29.99 for a box of a dozen protein bars. You can save a bit if you go with one of the brand’s monthly subscription options, bringing it down by 8% to $27.59, and you can shave a bit more with free shipping if you can push your order up over a total of $49.
