Myprotein is arguably one of the busiest sports supplement and functional brands out there, bringing to market more products than most between January and December each year. 2021 has been no different for the UK-based company, dropping several flavor extensions, all-new supplements and snacks, special edition items, and a brand in BeNu.
This week, Myprotein has also rolled out another edible product under its plant-based Myvegan collection, which is a moderately high, candy-bar style protein snack. Myprotein’s latest edible creation is “Choc Chew” and it has 7.5g of protein in its small 26g size, with 5.3g of carbohydrates, under a gram of sugar, 4g of fat, and under 100 calories at 95.
Myprotein’s Choc Chew comes in two flavors, Caramel and Chocolate Orange, both featuring a doughy main body with crispy pieces throughout, a gooey layer atop that, then a coating of milk chocolate. It is best to treat this product as a protein snack than a protein bar, as it doesn’t have the usual 20g of protein nor the more common 60g bar size.
Myprotein’s Myvegan Choc Chew is in stock and available now through its online store, and it’s relatively cost-effective, which makes sense; as mentioned, it’s only 26g a piece. The brand’s direct-to-consumer price at myprotein.com on Choc Chew is £1.49 (2.05 USD) for a single bar or £22.99 (31.67 USD) for a box of 18, which is £1.28 (1.76 USD) each.
