Energy drink showdown Clash Of The Cans returns Monday the 19th of July

clash of the cans returns

Several years ago, we noticed a trend in the industry with a steep rise in interest, popularity, and competitiveness in the functional beverage or energy drink space. That led us to create our annual energy drink showdown, the Clash Of The Cans, a contest where we get everyone to vote and decide what is the most popular energy drink on the market.

In the first year of the Clash of The Cans, Cellucor’s delicious and performance-powering beverage C4 Carbonated — now known as C4 Energy — took home the crown. For our second Clash Of The Cans, it was the high-powered Reign Total Body Fuel that earned the title, and now we’re gearing up for the third championship, taking place next month.

We’re pleased to announce the Clash Of The Cans is coming back for 2021, where we look to crown our first two-time champion or an entirely new one. Like previous years, the competition is open to every energy drink, anywhere in the world. The first round will consist of as many products that want to take part; then the most popular 16 go through to the next round.

After that intense first round, we do knockout-style rounds with four groups of four, two groups of two, then the one-on-one grand final. Anyone can vote in Clash Of The Cans, up to once per group per round. The 2021 competition is kicking off Monday the 19th of July, at which time you’ll be able to head to clashofthecans.com to show your support and vote.
