Plant protein bar in the works with Switch for launch later in the year

switch nutrition protein bar

Switch Nutrition started this year incredibly strong, releasing a new and improved version of its plant-based, vegan-friendly protein powder, Protein Switch. It features several formula changes and improvements from the original, including more servings, slightly less protein, added DigeZyme, and a taste that earned it the top spot on our list of best-flavored plant proteins.

Later this year, Switch Nutrition has another vegan-friendly protein product rolling out, and based on how good Protein Switch is, we have to imagine it will be another tasty effort. The difference with the Australian brand’s upcoming item is that, unlike Protein Switch, it will be an on-the-go bar, naturally sweetened and flavored, and made with whole food ingredients.

Switch Nutrition is currently still working on the yet-to-be-named product and mentioned it’s likely launching with three different flavors, although it hasn’t said anything about the macros. Those three flavors do sound quite delicious with Peanut Butter Chocolate, Chocolate Berry Ripe, and Chocolate Chunk, all featuring a good amount of protein from plant-based sources.

We’ll be sure to share more details when we have them, but we’re definitely excited to see what Switch Nutrition comes up with both because of how good Protein Switch tastes, and it’ll be the brand’s first edible product.
