The always creative and delicious functional brand Got7 Nutrition from Germany has released an all-new, chocolate hazelnut-flavored jar of high-protein spread. This is something the brand has had available in years past, although the 2021 version features a different look, a similar set of ingredients, and a nutrition profile that is roughly the same as the original.
Got7 Nutrition’s newest Protein Spread puts 6.6g of protein in a typical 30g serving size alongside 9.9g of carbohydrates with 2.1g of that sugar, 11.1g of fat, and 156 calories. As mentioned, those macros are not far off the chocolate hazelnut spread the brand introduced back in 2016, and it was incredibly close to the iconic but much higher sugar spread, Nutella.
The refreshed Protein Spread from Got7 Nutrition is now available in its home country of Germany, including its own online store, where a full-size jar will cost you €4.49 (5.43 USD). There is only the one chocolate hazelnut flavor available, and the jar itself is slightly smaller than the brand’s original Protein Spread, tipping the scales at 200g instead of 250.
