It turns out Pure Protein has two tasty new snacks for the week, with the crispy and lean puff-style snack Pure Protein Puffs arriving alongside the brand’s high-protein twist on a cookie sandwich. The product is similar to Lenny and Larry’s Complete Cremes introduced last year, although Pure Protein’s cookie sandwiches are much bigger and pack a lot more nutrition per cookie.
The Pure Protein Cookie Sandwiches have a solid 8g of protein in each of its eight cookies per packet, with 9.5g of carbohydrates, only 2g of sugar, 7.5g of fat, and 125 calories. The sandwiches are not as lean as any of the brand’s other protein products and snacks but aren’t too bad, and if they taste as good as they look, they’d be a great clean cheat or low sugar, high-protein treat.
Pure Protein has introduced its Cookie Sandwiches in two tasty flavors with Snickerdoodle and an option for chocolate lovers in Double Chocolate. The product relies on milk and whey sources to give it that high 8g of protein, with no artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners in the Snickerdoodle or Double Chocolate sandwiches, which are also non-GMO and gluten-free.
Like the Puffs, Pure Protein’s Cookie Sandwiches are available now from Walmart, with the retail giant’s website pricing the product at $6.94 for a packet of eight sandwiches. Keep in mind those macros mentioned above of 8g of protein and 125 calories are per cookie. If you throw down the entire pack, you’re looking at 64g of protein, 76g of carbs, 60g of fat, and 1,000 calories.
