Hardcore Russian supplement company Freak Label, known for its use of edgy ingredients and products, even in its single-ingredient formulas, is welcoming something a little more mainstream this week. The brand has put together a traditional amino-based recovery supplement named ‘Hydr8ed’, featuring aminos along with a handful of other recovery supporting ingredients.
On the amino side, Freak Label’s Hydr8ed comes with a classic 5g of BCAAs, at the usual 2:1:1 ratio, dividing up into 2.5g of leucine and 1.25g each of isoleucine and valine. As mentioned, there are a few extra ingredients alongside the aminos, including a blend of electrolytes to help with hydration, 750mg of taurine, 100mg of vitamin c, 2.5g of glutamine, and 1.25g of betaine.
Freak Label plans to officially launch Hydr8ed soon with a total of four flavors to choose from, although only two have been named so far. Those two are the blackberry, lychee, and guava concoction ‘Any Given Day’ and ‘As I Lay Dying’, a combination of acai and pomegranate. The product will have 20 full servings per tub and a direct-to-consumer price of 1190₽ (15.64 USD).
