Austrian functional brand Energy Cake, the maker of the popular, delicious, and nutritionally dense oat-based edible of the same name, has come out with something to help fans enjoy December even more. The Energy Cake snack, as mentioned, is an oat-based product that weighs a hefty 125g and provides a relatively low amount of protein, but a huge 529 calories in its Chocolate flavor.
Energy Cake has a wide variety of flavors to choose from, well over 20, and for Christmas, it has taken a whole bunch and thrown them into a completely custom, limited-edition advent calendar. The product comes with 19 different flavors of the brand’s flagship Energy Cake, including its two winter editions, Chocolate Almond and Winter Magic, and an entirely new snack exclusive to the calendar.
Energy Cake is introducing the ‘Pocket Cake’ with its 2020 advent calendar, which like the brand’s original product, is oat-based, but with a low-sugar approach packing under a gram in an 80g bar. Energy Cake has not said much outside of the name and low-sugar angle, and while it is currently exclusive to the calendar, it sounds like the Pocket Cake will get a full public launch early next year.
If you’re in Europe and would like to order Energy Cake’s oat snack packed advent calendar, it is a limited-time release but is still available through its website at a reasonable €34.90 (41.07 USD).
