Swedish sports nutrition retailer Proteinbolgat has come out with a new on-the-go, high-protein snack for its in-house brand, GAAM Nutrition. The product is the simply named ‘GAAM Protein Bar’, featuring a good amount of protein and an impressively low, overall calorie-count. Like a lot of protein snacks and bars out of Europe, the latest from GAAM also looks absolutely delicious.
The GAAM Protein Bar packs the usual 20g of protein per bar, although as mentioned, it is its other macros that really impress. Alongside that typical amount of protein, you get 13.7 to 14.8g of carbohydrates with 2.3 to 2.4g of that sugar, 7 to 8g of fat, and 188 to 194 calories. It is indeed quite a lean nutrition profile, as most bars with 20g of protein usually end up 200 to 220 calories.
There are two flavors of GAAM Nutrition’s protein bar, with Chocolate and Almond, and the marginally less nutritionally-dense Caramel and Peanut. Inside the wrapper is a product with a typical doughy, protein bar main body, almonds and peanuts scattered throughout depending on the flavor, gooey flavors of extra flavor, and all wrapped in delicious-looking chocolate.
As touched on earlier, GAAM Nutrition is a brand from the Swedish supplement retailer Proteinbolaget, who is, of course, one of the first places stocking the GAAM Protein Bar. It is in stock and available in both of the product’s flavors Chocolate and Almond, and Caramel and Peanut, at a price of 20 kr (2.27 USD) for a single bar, or 16.58 kr (1.88 USD) each for a box of 12.
