Vital Strength is a well-established supplement company in Australia that has been around for a quarter of a century. The brand was acquired by the Freedom Foods Group back in 2017, who is the largest producer of milk in Australia. Freedom Foods provides the supplement market with several premium sources of protein, including native whey and micellar casein, and is actually the only producer of whey isolate in the country.
Earlier this year, Vital Strength introduced an all-new protein powder called PUREnWPI, which is a premium native whey isolate powered supplement. For those unfamiliar with native whey, it is different from regular whey in that it is extracted directly from milk as opposed to being a byproduct of cheese and all the additional processes that come with that.
The result of the native whey process is a protein that hasn’t gone through any heat or chemical processing, giving it a higher biological value, and higher amounts of naturally occurring BCAAs and EAAs.
The nutrition profile on Vital Strength’s PUREnWPI is quite lean with an impressive 25 to 26g of protein in a 30g serving, 300mg of fat or less, 1.2 to 1.6g of carbohydrates, and a lean 111 to 112 calories. The product is an extremely pure protein powder with a strong set of macros to back it up, and it comes in two naturally sweetened flavors with Chocolate and Vanilla, as well as a basic unflavored option called ‘Natural’.
PUREnWPI is available directly from Vital Strength’s website as well as major supplement stores throughout Australia, including Elite Supps and Nutrition Warehouse. As mentioned, the native whey protein powder comes in three flavor options, all of which come in two tub sizes with an 840g, 28 serving, and an almost double sized 1.5kg packing 50 servings.
