Caffeinated and coffee-flavored spin-off of R1 Plant Protein also on the way

Earlier this week, the protein specialist Rule One, released its first-ever plant-based, vegan-friendly protein powder with R1 Plant Protein. It brings together a blend of pea, sunflower seed, and watermelon seed protein to provide 20g of protein per serving. Its other macros are fairly typical with 4g of carbohydrates, 2g of fat, for a total of 120 calories.

We’re bringing up Rule One and its recently released R1 Plant Protein for a second time this week because the brand is apparently not done with that type of supplement. As well as launching the vegan-friendly protein powder, Rule One has shared a preview of a spin-off named R1 Plant Protein Energy, which looks to be much the same as R1 Plant Protein but with a small twist.

Based on images, Rule One’s R1 Plant Protein Energy appears to feature all of the same protein sources as the regular version. What seems to be different is that it comes in a ‘Cold Brew Coffee’ flavor, and with that is an additional 100mg of coffee-sourced caffeine. It is essentially a coffee-themed flavor of R1 Plant Protein that, true to its name, provides a nice boost in energy.

We’re not too sure when Rule One Proteins is planning to launch its R1 Plant Protein Energy spin-off, only that it’s coming soon with the same amount of servings per tub as R1 Plant Protein in 20.
