The hugely popular functional and supplement company Foodspring has come out with a sequel to its meal replacement Shape Shake, simply named Shape Shake 2.0. While most sequels make small changes here and there, that is not entirely the case on this one, as Shape Shake 2.0 is still a meal replacement, but with a slightly different purpose in mind.
For its follow up meal replacement, Foodspring has done more than just improve its Shake Shape formula. The new 2.0 version is actually intended to be a more complete and comprehensive meal solution. The original was promoted as a snack with a nutrition profile closer to a protein powder rather than a balanced meal replacement shake.
The macros on Foodspring’s Shape Shake 2.0 are higher in every area with 25g of protein instead of 19g, 11g of carbohydrates with 1.6g of that sugar, 11g of fiber, 4g of fat, and 206 calories. To strengthen its purpose as a full meal replacement, the German brand has also fortified the sequel with a full multivitamin blend with 24 different vitamins and minerals.
Foodspring’s more nutritionally dense Shape Shake 2.0 is now available for purchase through its online store for the same price as the original at €29.99 (33.67 USD). While the cost is the same, the sequel does not have a lot fewer servings at 15 compared to 25. The supplement also comes in a fraction of the flavors with three in Chocolate, Vanilla, and Cookies & Cream.
