The functional brand OWN recently teased a mysterious new product that promised to “forever change the way you enjoy your favorite foods”, and sounded like something that had never been done before. This week the brand has shared a lot more information on the upcoming release, giving us a much better idea of what kind of functional product we’re in for.
OWN simply describes its second-ever product as a better version of the original chocolate hazelnut spread, Nutella. It promises that better product all without any sugar or palm oil, and 48 calories to Nutella’s 100, which is how much you get from one tablespoon. The brand also boldly claims the macros making up that 48 calories will be difficult to believe.
With the still relatively new brand OWN being so confident in its healthy Nutella alternative, we’re very interested to see how the product turns out and, of course, just how good it tastes. The brand has still yet to set a launch date for the promising functional spread, but it is said to be coming soon, so be sure to stay tuned for updates and any new information.
