The German company ESN has already been in the news this week with details of another flavor for its tasty protein-packed snack, the Designer Bar Crunchy. It was only a couple of days ago that we shared its newest flavor with Salted Caramel, and now we have even more news for the product, although this time around it’s not entirely flavor related.
ESN has confirmed that next week it is coming out with a new regular version of its Designer Bar Crunchy protein bar that is three-quarters of the size of the original and not crunchy. The product is simply named the ‘Designer Bar’, and being that’s its 25% lighter, it’s not too surprising that it has less protein than the Crunchy alternative at 14g per bar.
From launch, ESN’s smaller 45g Designer Bar is going to have the same amount of flavors as the 60g Crunchy version, although its list of individual options won’t be identical. Where the Designer Bar Crunchy comes in Coconut, Salted Caramel, and Hazelnut Nougat, the upcoming Designer Bar will have Hazelnut Nougat, Almond Coconut, and Peanut Caramel.
ESN is looking to launch its new Designer Bar at the beginning of next week, with its retail partner Fitmart expected to be the first place stocking the product.
