Grenade has just claimed the Guinness World Record for a very Grenade-like achievement. The UK-based functional and supplement company has put together a giant 239 kilogram (526.9lbs) Carb Killa protein bar, claiming the record for the world’s biggest protein bar. The protein-packed log is apparently equal to 3,716 commercial protein bars.
Based on its weight and the fact that it’s the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Carb Killa, scaled up, the record setting protein bar should have around 80,000g of protein. The carbohydrates would also be up there at about 67,000g with only 7,400g of that sugar, and 35,000g of fat, totaling for an insane amount of calories estimated to be in the realm of 870,000.
It’s always great to see world-class achievements from companies within the fitness industry, especially when it involves a quality brand like Grenade. You can see the world record protein bar in the images above, and for those wondering, the brand did create an extra-large wrapper for it, which is how we know it’s the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavor.
