In July of last year, Myprotein released a more refreshing, juice-like protein powder with Clear Whey Isolate, similar to Dymatize’s ISO100 Clear and Muscletech’s ISO Whey Clear. The brand has now dropped an entirely new supplement that is along the same lines as Clear Whey Isolate but with a vegan twist, introducing Clear Vegan Protein.
Myprotein’s Clear Vegan Protein is essentially a vegan-friendly version of its original Clear Whey Isolate and claims to be the world’s first “clear vegan protein blend”. It is a refreshing, fruit-flavored product that provides 20g of protein in a two-scoop serving from hydrolyzed pea protein. Its other macros are 5.2g of carbohydrates, a gram of sugar, 200mg of fat, and 108 calories.
Clear Vegan Protein has hit the market with two flavors to choose from in Strawberry and Lemon & Lime, both of which are made with real fruit. Myprotein has also included a handful of added vitamins in the vegan-friendly protein powder with the likes of niacin, biotin, and folic acid.
The price on Myprotein’s Clear Vegan Protein on its website is £24.99 (32.40 USD) for a tub of 20 scoops, which works out to only ten servings if you want that 20g of protein mentioned above. That is quite expensive compared to your typical protein powder, even the brand’s original Clear Whey Isolate, which is £21.99 for 20 servings with 20g of protein in each.
