MetaLab is an exciting new company out of Johannesburg, South Africa, who has a lot of things planned for the future. While MetaLab is going to be launching a line of supplements, hence why we’re featuring the brand, it also offers one-on-one coaching, has healthy meals now available direct and through Uber Eats, and it is planning to open its own gym.
Unlike the healthy meals and coaching MetaLab offers, the supplement side of the South African brand has yet to hit the market. All of MetaLab’s products are expected to be out and available sometime next month, although to let everyone know what they’re in for, the upcoming brand has completely unveiled them all with four separate supplements.
As you can see in the images above and below, MetaLab’s products are creatively and colorfully branded, with a look that isn’t all that common in the supplement industry. The brand’s lineup consists of two AstraGin enhanced protein powders in Bridge and ISO-Bridge, with the former being a blend of whey concentrate, isolate, and hydrolyzed whey, while the latter is a pure isolate.
MetaLab’s other two products are slightly more complex with the amino Moonwalk featuring eight of the nine EAAs for a combined total of almost 6g, relatively light doses of beta-alanine and citrulline, a gram each of glutamine and taurine, and arginine.
The fourth supplement from MetaLab is a stimulant powered pre-workout named Spellbound, which comes with a variety of ingredients, including 4g of BCAAs, just like Moonwalk. A few other features of the pre-workout are 2g of the performance ingredient beta-alanine, a moderate 200mg of caffeine, and fairly light dosages of agmatine and citrulline malate at half a gram and 4g, respectively.
Once again, MetaLab is launching its line of supplements in South Africa next month through an online store at metalabsupps.com. Each of the products will have two or more flavors with Caramel and Vanilla Bean for the proteins, and an additional Milky Chocolate for the regular Bridge, Litchi Juice and Summer Pineapple for Moonwalk, and Mango and Passion Fruit for Spellbound.
