As promised, the protein doughnut company The Dough Bar is now taking pre-orders for its special edition packs for Valentine’s Day. The functional brand has put together a huge ten limited edition products for the special day, with six flavors of its protein doughnut, two for Protein Monkey Bread, one for its whoopie pie, and a cake pop.
Starting with The Dough Bar’s protein doughnuts, the Valentine’s edition flavors are ‘Tutti Frutti’ made with Strawberry Chex, the red velvet cake ‘Date Night’ with white chocolate chips, and the Nutella glazed ‘Brownie Brittle’ with brownie bits.
All of the flavors above come in the cakier Protein Cake Doughnut as well as the original Raised Doughnut. The remaining three are only for the raised version in ‘Lady Killer’ with raspberry glaze and dark chocolate bits, the Oreo-based ‘Heart On My Sleeve’ with heart sprinkles, and ‘Sweet Tooth’ featuring a mix of marshmallow, Rice Krispies, and Mini M&M’s.
Next are The Dough Bar’s two Protein Monkey Bread creations named ‘Tuxedo’ and ‘ Strawberry Sweatheart’. The former is made with white and milk chocolate chips, while the latter is a strawberry flavored pull-apart bread. You then have the one special edition Protein Whoopie Pie option, which has the usual cream filling with red velvet cake cookies.
There is also The Dough Bar’s White Chocolate Protein Cake Pop, although you can’t buy that individually, you can only get it if you’re one of the first 200 people to pre-order its Valentine’s products.
