Just last month, the innovative functional food company The Dough Bar, made its prototype Protein Whoopie Pie, a permanent part of its growing lineup. The Whoopie Pie was originally announced back in July, so it only took the brand about three months to go from prototype to a permanent product.
The Dough Bar has now announced its next prototype with its take on pull-apart Monkey Bread, although unlike traditional Monkey Bread, this one is high in protein. The product features a soft consistency, similar to the brand’s original raised doughnut, and comes packed full of chocolate chips.
More details on The Dough Bar’s promising protein Monkey Bread are due to be shared soon, including things like macros and ingredients. If the product is anything like the brand’s Whoopie Pie, fans will also get the chance to purchase the treat as a prototype before it gets a full public launch.
