Next version of the Dough Bar’s Whoopie Pie said to be softer and tastier

Another version of the Dough Bar’s Protein Whoopie Pie will be online for pre-order tomorrow at exactly 6 PM Pacific Time on its website. It is a sequel to the 2.0 version that we reviewed last month, which we felt could be better. The next Whoopie Pie is numbered 2.1, and the brand has made tweaks based on feedback.

The Dough Bar has confirmed that is newest Protein Whoopie Pie is going to have an improved taste, texture, and softness compared to both of its predecessors. The macros on the 2.1 edition start with a solid 11g of protein, 26g of carbohydrates with 18g of that sugar, 11g of fat, and a total of 250 calories.

As well as making changes to the build of the Protein Whoopie Pie, the Dough Bar has revealed it’ll also be launching in more flavors. Instead of having just two in Chocolate Chip and Funfetti, the 2.1 Whoopie Pie will have Funfetti alongside Apple Cinnamon and a season-appropriate Pumpkin Spice.
