The functional food company Lenny and Larry’s, widely known for its original high-protein Complete Cookie, is coming out with another cookie snack. The upcoming product is Lenny and Larry’s Complete Cremes, which is a packet of bite-sized protein-infused, sandwich cookies.
The brand compares its new Complete Cremes to more mainstream sandwich cookies as opposed to other high-protein cookie-style snacks. One of the highlights Lenny and Larry’s actually calls out in its marketing for the product is that it has one third less sugar than the leading competitor.
The nutrition profile on Lenny and Larry’s Complete Cremes starts with a reasonable 6g of protein from plant-based sources per two cookies, with each cookie weighing 13.5g. Alongside that moderate dose of protein, you get 9g of carbohydrates with 4g of that fiber and 6-7g sugar, 2.5g of fat, and a calorie count of 120.
Do keep in mind, as mentioned, those macros above are based on two of the Complete Cremes sandwich cookies. An entire pack of the latest Lenny and Larry’s creation comes with 18 cookies, so if you eat through the whole lot, you’re looking at 54g of protein, 45g of fat, 81g of carbohydrates, and 1,080 calories.
On the flavor side, Lenny and Larry’s Complete Cremes are due to be available in stores in two traditional tastes with Vanilla and an Oreo-like Chocolate. In typical sandwich cookie style, the Complete Cremes are made up of two crunchy cookies with a delicious cream filling.
