Optimum Nutrition has just introduced another new protein snack in the UK and Europe after launching its game-changing Protein Bar in the same market just two months ago. The veteran brand’s latest product is actually similar to a couple of other protein bars we’ve seen from Optimum Nutrition but in the US and Australia.
Now available from Optimum Nutrition is the Protein Crisp, which is what we refer to as a Rice Krispies style bar due to its Rice Krispies Treat like build and consistency. The two products it is similar to are Optimum Nutrition’s identically named Protein Crisp available in the US, and the delicious Protein Crunch in Australia.
Optimum Nutrition’s new Protein Crisp comes in three delicious looking flavors with Chocolate Brownie, Peanut Butter, and Marshmallow. It features a Rice Krispies style body with a solid base and squiggles across the top. An entire Protein Crisp bar provides 20g of protein, 16g of carbohydrates, 6.7g of fat, for a reasonable total of 213 calories.
The tasty looking Protein Crisp is being distributed across Europe through Prometeus and is already available for purchase from major retailers in the UK. Cardiff Sports Nutrition is one of the first UK stores stocking Optimum Nutrition’s latest protein snack in all three flavors at a price of £21.99 (27.94 USD) for a box of 12 bars.
