‘Merica Labz is currently getting ready to get into the snack game with a spin-off brand appropriately named ‘Merica Snax. The first product in the line won’t be your typical protein bar or RTD, the brand has instead decided to come out with the meat snack, ‘Merica Snax Beef Stix.
The upcoming product from ‘Merica Labz is made with 100% USA beef and provides 14g of protein, about 4g of fat, and between 2 to 5g of carbohydrates. We’ve been fortunate enough to get our hands on all three flavors of the ‘Merica Snax Beef Stix for a special pre-release taste review.
Review
The first-ever ‘Merica Labz protein snack is quite impressive, with the new ‘Merica Snax Beef Stix featuring a smooth and enjoyable consistency. When you bite into the product, there is very little toughness or force required, which is relatively surprising considering that this is indeed a meat snack.
We actually picked up a handful of the widely available Ostrim Beef Sticks to compare, and can easily say ‘Merica Snax Beef Stix has them beat. As mentioned, there is not really any toughness in Beef Stix, it is just a smooth, easy to chew and chomp through snack that makes it even easier to enjoy the flavors ‘Merica has packed into them.
There are three flavors of the ‘Merica Snax Beef Stix with Original, Teriyaki, and Jalapeno Pineapple. For us, the Jalapeno spiciness is the dominant taste in the Jalapeno Pineapple; however, you can see actual pineapple pieces in the stick and taste a mild sweet pineapple flavor.
As for the other two ‘Merica Snax Beef Stix flavors, they’re tied as our favorites. Both options feature a sweet taste that makes it difficult to put the stick down after the first bite. The Original Beef Stix has a meaty flavor that is also somehow sweet, while Teriyaki delivers on its title taste, although it isn’t as strong as the Original.
Summary
We honestly didn’t know what to expect from ‘Merica Snax Beef Stix, as it’s not a type of product we’ve ever reviewed. After trying it however and finding the beef powered protein snack quite enjoyable, we can certainly see the potential, especially when comparing it to the major meat stick brand Ostrim.
‘Merica Labz has managed to make its 100% USA beef product as smooth and easy to enjoy as some protein bars, all while providing an entirely different experience. ‘Merica will be the only supplement company we know of in the meat stick market, so it’ll be interesting to see how Beef Stix goes when it eventually launches.
