Just like last year, the creative and delicious high protein doughnut company the Dough Bar, is exhibiting at the Arnold Expo this weekend. While we have had the brand’s regular raised doughnut several times before, at the this year’s Arnold we finally got to try the Cake Doughnut the Dough Bar launched last year.
The product is exactly as the brand describes it, a softer and cake-like high protein doughnut. Compared to the Dough Bar’s original raised doughnut, it has a fluffier consistency that is quite similar to a muffin or cupcake. It still makes for a delicious and great tasting protein treat, however, we do prefer the regular raised doughnut.
