Universal Nutrition has revamped its long-running protein powder, the whey powered supplement Ultra Whey. The formula behind the product appears to have remained pretty much the same, as it is still powered by three sources of whey protein with whey concentrate, isolate, and hydrolyzed whey.
While we have yet to see the full nutrition profile of Universal’s updated Ultra Whey, we do know it still has the same amount of protein per serving at 22g. Based on that number and the fact that its three protein sources have remained, we suspect the rest of its macros are much the same as well.
Where the changes for Ultra Whey come in are with its branding, as Universal has switched it to its new, more modern “U” based design. The supplement is also said to taste even better than before, with seven flavors to choose from including the likes of Double Chocolate, Strawberry Banana, and Mocha Cappuccino.
Universal’s upgraded Ultra Whey protein powder is now available over on its website, although only in select sizes. The other options in stock are the original Ultra Whey, which as mentioned, isn’t too different from the revamped version although it won’t have that improved flavoring.
